Pick-Up With the Portsmouth Sports Club

President Ned McCabe welcomed the members of the Portsmouth Sports Club to the State Championship Recognition Luncheon. Sharon Moore announced the state champions: IC Norcom High School's boys' basketball team and girls' indoor track team. Principle Ms. Shameka Pollard and Athletic Director Oronde Andrews were in attendance. The Western Branch High School boys' and girls' indoor track teams were also honored for their state championships, with principle Dr. Thomas Whitley accepting the awards. Head Wrestling Coach Kevin Dresser of Virginia Tech was the guest speaker.
